We'd also like to point out that our library offers so much more than books! Here are some items that San José Public Library offers that you may not be aware of.
San José Public Library offers WIFI high speed hotspots, iPads, and Chromebooks. We even now offer youth hotspots!
Did you know that you can visit the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park, Legion of Honor in San Francisco, the Charles M. Schultz Museum, among others, for free? Simply login with your San José Public Library card, book your registration online, print your e-ticket, and go!
In case you weren't aware, San Jose Public Library provides an online accredited high school diploma and career certificate program to library card holders in good standing.
Youngsters can learn through discovery in each of these take home boxes. There are nine different activity boxes to choose from, which include concepts such as science, shapes, dinosaurs, alphabet, numbers and more. Each activity box includes a lesson sheet with suggested activities, books, and toys.
San Jose Public Library also recently added a new collection, Wee Read! Books to Go and Grow Bags, which are theme-focused storytime bags.
With over 16,000 expert-led courses, users can choose from a vast array of content. Since monthly memberships cost $29.99, this is a huge cost savings! Some popular courses include Python, Machine Learning, Project Manager Tracking software, Entrepreneurship, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Excel, and so much more.
