The mission of the San José Public Library Instruction and Programming Services unit is to work collaboratively with library staff and partners to bring high quality lifelong learning opportunities to all members of the community. We develop and provide support for programs that spark public interest and encourage customers of all ages to explore and utilize library resources.
The mission of the Maker[Space]Ship is to overcome access barriers in San José, foster creative ideas, connect people with technology, and encourage problem-solving, collaboration, and discovery.
We invite you to send us your program proposal: we're always looking for programs that complement the library's collections, services, and goals. If you are an individual or organization who would like to present a program, please use this online proposal form. After your proposal is submitted it will be reviewed by a library staff member, who may follow up with you as necessary.
