Hey, Teens!

Are you always hustling?

Do you have an amazing idea for a product or service that will change the world?

Do you want to take your idea and turn it into a small business that will earn real money?

SJPL is looking for rising 7th to 10th graders who want to make their dreams of being an entrepreneur into a reality. We’re especially looking to extend this offer to “underestimated” teens – teens who have skills, talents, and ideas that haven’t always been recognized. If you’ve been told “no” too many times, we want to tell you “yes”!

Using the WeThrive curriculum, you’ll develop and launch your own business. You’ll have access to experienced mentors who will help you create a business plan and raise funding, as well as seed capital – $50 in starter cash to get your business off of the ground. WeThrive lessons are self-guided and let you work at your own speed, and our virtual program format lets you participate from anywhere you like.

This is a five-week virtual program running from Monday, June 21 through Friday, July 23, 2021. This program is first-come-first-serve, but we will prioritize teens who represent underserved groups in the entrepreneurial community.
