  • YA Authors and Two Fangirls

    Have you ever been to a convention? How about a movie or book event? No? Then you might be not familiar with the crazy that accompanies it. I have been to enough signings and events to understand that no matter what, there is no force that can stop the passion a person feels about something when they're in their prime. Despite the crazy, those are the experiences you will cherish for lifetimes. For Alyssa, another San Jose Public Library blogger, and I, we had the privilege of attending two book signings featuring three amazing Young Adult authors we fangirlishly adore: Josephine Angelini, Holly Black, and Cassandra Clare.

  • New Season, New Lookfashion

    Even though the weather has only just started to cool down, the first official day of Fall was September 23, 2015. I have never been one to obsessively follow fashion trends but as the seasons change, I look forward to adding some new pieces to my closet or experimenting with new hair or makeup.  I get a lot of my ideas from blogs, Pinterest and YouTube, but the library has plenty of resources for the fashion lovers among us, so why don't you check out these books and get inspired?
