Official Information & Rules: San José Public Library’s 8 th Annual Battle of the Bands is open to local teen musicians in the San Jose area between the ages of 12-18. This event encourages teens to explore and express themselves using technology. This contest is open to all musical genres and styles, but no obscene or offensive lyrics are allowed.
