Batman reading a comic book

Limited Edition DC Comics Library Card - Available Starting September 21

Be a Hero, Read a Book!

Every year, DC Comics celebrates Batman Day on September 21 – an annual tradition for fans around the world.

This year, DC Comics joined forces with San José Public Library (SJPL) to release a limited edition library card that features an official DC Comics design of Batman reading a comic book.

SJPL is proud to be the only library system in the West Coast to release a DC Comics library card to the public starting Saturday, September 21, 2019.

Get your FREE card by applying online, or by visiting any SJPL location. All current SJPL members can also replace their current design, at no charge.
