Filipino American History Month

Honoring Tradition

Discover Filipino culture and history

This October, join us in celebrating Filipino American History Month. Our San José community has a rich Filipino heritage, once centered in a historic “Pinoytown” near Japantown and the former Chinatown. Everyone is invited to borrow our collections, explore cultural resources, and take part in engaging events that highlight the music, stories, flavors, and spirit of Filipino traditions.
