Discover the Digital World

Explore hands-on technology learning this summer with the San José Public Library (SJPL). Digital Discovery programs help students build digital skills, creativity, and confidence through coding, robotics, digital art, and other STEAM activities.

Students entering grades 1-6 can join multi-day Digital Discovery Workshops for project-based learning. Families can also choose from shorter STEAM programs that introduce science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Digital Discovery Workshops

Explore coding, robotics, digital art, and hands-on technology in SJPL's Digital Discovery Workshops for students in grades 1-6. These multi-day workshops offer a fun, supportive environment where children can build, create, experiment, and solve problems using computers, iPads, robots, and other technology tools. The workshops are designed for beginners and curious learners. No experience is needed.

Experienced educators lead each workshop and support hands-on STEAM learning and creative exploration.

Digital Discovery Workshops run June 8-July 31 at select locations. Explore and register for Digital Discovery Workshops in the listings below.

Coding & STEAM Learning Labs
