My Personal Journey with Skincare
Before my well-being journey began, I loved the art of makeup. The transformation makeup allows us is amazing. During my fitness journey I better understood how skin is better uncovered. Nourishing yourself the best possible way for your skin, rather than covering "flaws". Eating minimal to no processed foods, sleeping and hydrating made me happier. You feel and see the difference. I hated exposing my hyper pigmentation, blemishes, pores, texture and I can go on. All that doesn't matter when you feel good in your body. The strength and determination to complete long runs or hikes is the best feeling.
I do it for my inner peace and longevity. There is a peace that comes when you're in nature and that reflects in beauty in people, makeup cannot provide. This does not happen overnight and there will some days harder than others. Remind yourself only you can make yourself happy by taking care of yourself. No one can improve this in your life.

- Start off with gentle skincare treatments.
- Please do your research before you start treatments. Seek out friends/family that you trust partake in skin treatments.
- If you wear makeup, be mindful of the product ingredients list.
- Don’t buy expensive cosmetic brands for the name.
- You cannot hide behind makeup long term. Winkles will appear, dryness and this can show with makeup.
