If you haven't heard of BookTok yet, it is a subcommunity on TikTok focused on books and literature. Creators make videos reviewing, discussing, and joking about the books they read. These books range in genres, but many creators tend to focus on young adult fiction, young adult fantasy, and romance. Because the TikTok algorithm has the ability to target your likes and dislikes pretty well, BookTok has been credited with making significant impacts in the publishing industry and book sales.
