Storytime with Police Chief Mata Feb. 16, 2023 @ 5:30 PM - Hillview Branch Library

Join us for a special February kick-off event with SJPD Police Chief of Police, Anthony Mata, at the Hillview Branch Library on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 5:30 PM to share stories and get to know the community.

Young children and their families are invited to join us for monthly Read to Succeed storytimes with the San José Police Officers at branches throughout the city.

Read to Succeed is a partnership between the San José Public Library and the San José Police Department to promote early literacy and build positive and inspiring interactions between police officers and children and their caregivers through structured storytime programming at various San José Public Library locations.

We’re so excited to partner with the SJPD to bring these very special programs to our neighborhoods.

Learn more about these programs and more on our Storytimes page!
