Become a Learner

Build Skills for Everyday Life

Literacy & Learning Services can help you with your reading, writing, speaking, and technology skills with free one-on-one tutoring, small group classes, and workshops. The program supports those who want to build their skills for everyday life, work, and community. Learners work with staff and trained volunteers to set goals and learn at their own pace.

How to become a learner

Getting started is simple. We will guide you through each step.

  1. Complete the online Learner Interest Form. You can fill it out for yourself or with help from a family member or staff.
  2. We will contact you to schedule an orientation. At the orientation, staff will learn more about your goals and explain your options.
  3. After orientation, we will match you with a tutor, class, or workshop that fits your needs and schedule.
