San José Public Library Returns to the 2025 Silicon Valley Pride Parade

Join us downtown for a weekend of celebration, inclusion, and fun.

Silicon Valley Pride will fill Downtown San José with color and community on Saturday, Aug. 30 and Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025. Join the library as we celebrate during Sunday's festivities.

Library staff will march in the Pride Parade at 10:30 a.m., starting at Julian Street and Market Street and ending at Plaza de César Chávez in Downtown San José.

After the parade, visit SJPL in the Family Garden. We'll host rainbow-themed crafts, activities and a storytime for families and children of all ages.

This year’s theme, “Unstoppable: 50 Years of Love, Legacy, and Liberation,” celebrates five decades of progress, pride and community.
