San José Public Library Returns to the 2025 Silicon Valley Pride Parade

Join us downtown for a weekend of celebration, inclusion, and fun.

The San José Public Library (SJPL) is proudly returning to this year’s Silicon Valley Pride celebration, taking place the weekend of August 30–31, 2025.

Library staff will march in the Pride Parade on Sunday, August 31 at 10:30 a.m., starting at Julian Street and Market Street and ending at Plaza de César Chávez in Downtown San José. After the parade, SJPL will host a space in the Family Garden at the festival, featuring rainbow-themed activities, crafts, and a storytime for families.

This year’s theme is “Unstoppable: 50 Years of Love, Legacy, and Liberation,” celebrating five decades of progress, pride, and community.
