About the Contest
Congratulations to our 2025 Spring into Poetry Contest winners. We challenged local aspiring poets to pen verses read in 3 minutes or less (3500 characters max), and our community certainly delivered! We received a whopping 300% increase in submissions over last year! Poems of all kinds were submitted and added to our growing local collection of short form literature published online through the Short Edition digital collections.
Prizes
Each winner will receive a gift certificate to a local bookseller and an assortment of goodies to help keep the words and creativity flowing. Congratulations again, winners, and to all who participated! We look forward to reading more submissions in our writing contest this fall.
