    San José Public Library Celebrates National Volunteer Week We are thankful for our volunteers year round. During National Volunteer Week (April 15–21), we take it up a notch to celebrate them and express our sincere appreciation for all their hard work. In 2017 2,910 volunteers donated a total of 93,550 hours of service at San José Public Library (SJPL). That’s over 256 hours a day!
