
San José Public Library is offering a five-session workshop series to help English as a Second Language (ESL) learners prepare for success in the workplace.
Participants will practice professional communication while building basic digital skills with Google Workspace and Canva. These skills can help with job searches, interviews, and career advancement.
What You Will Learn
Each session focuses on a different workplace skill:
- Professional introductions and describing your skills
- Customer service and everyday workplace communication
- Professional communication and workplace expectations
- Interview skills and answering questions
- Presenting yourself with confidence
Who Can Participate
The workshops are designed for ESL adult learners who can communicate in basic English. Instruction is provided in English and Spanish.
