I've never really been into sci-fi, but for 2019 I think my resolution should be to branch out and read a little bit out of my comfort zone. I promise to read at least one of these sci-fi books in 2019. Sci-fi Recommendations Under the Never Sky by Veronica Ross WORLDS KEPT THEM APART. DESTINY BROUGHT THEM TOGETHER. This month was just a mad dash to finish my Goodreads challenge of 60 books read in 2018. Wishing you all a Happy New Year. Comment down below what your books you plan on reading in 2019. I'm dreaming of a white Christmas... but most importantly I'm dreaming of the perfect Christmas read. I can't think of anything better to do this holiday season than curling up in the UGLIEST Christmas sweater and reading a book. I'll have Christmas music softly playing in the background and my Christmas tree all lit up. I'll brew up a batch of homemade peppermint mocha and sip it while reading a book. If you think that sounds like a perfect holiday, then we've got you covered with the perfect Holiday reads. Christmas Recommendations What Light by Jay Asher Sierra's family runs...Read more...

Cute turkey wearing a pilgrim hat on a light orange background
As I write this... I am fantasizing about all the amazing things I'm going to eat this Thanksgiving... I'll skip the cranberry sauce and go straight for the mash potatoes and gravy. I'll skip the green beans (or any vegetable) and go straight for the piles and piles of beautiful Turkey! Aside from being thankful for all the great food I'm going to devour this year. I really want to stop and appreciate all the wonderful people in my life. That being said I'm thankful for my family, my coworkers and my amazing friends. Not only is it time for...Read more...

This October I managed to read a total of 6 books! Which is extremely unlike me. I used to be able to read more in a month, but after getting a dog... who thinks books are chew toys. I have to hide from him, and secretly read... So the fact that I managed to finish 6 books this month is completely owed to the OverDrive app and their audiobooks. If you have not checked out their ap I highly, highly recommend it. It's made my life so much easier. Books I've Read Recently My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi...Read more...
