I spend quite a bit of my time at home watching movies. With a few notable guilty pleasures (that shall remain nameless at this point in time), most of my cinema viewing tends towards Classic films, Foreign Films, and movies that are considered masterpieces of a particular genre or the epitome of a director's best work. The Criterion Collection Inc. is a company dedicated to film restoration and distribution. Many of the movies in its' collection are high caliber offerings, showcasing the expertise of the film's directors, cast, and crew. The following list of movies are amongst some of my favorites in The Criterion Collection, and are certain to provide you with entertainment, as well as (possibly) push the boundaries, and provide entry into a new level of cinema.
