May is Jewish American Heritage Month, a recognition of the numerous stories and contributions of Jewish Americans in the country's history, and a chance for everyone to learn more about the commuity's heritage and achievements. People such as the poet Emma Lazarus, Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, children's and YA author Judy Blume and filmmaker Steven Spielberg are just a few of the Jewish Americans who've been a vital part of the American story.
