San Jose Public Library brings you a resource that offers online access to archival collections covering topics of importance to U.S. and California history. Archives Unbound addresses students and researchers’ needs to see primary, unpublished archival documents. Archives Unbound presents topically-focused digital collections of historical documents that support the research and study needs of students.

All you need is your library card and PIN. If you don’t have a library card, you can sign up online for free.

Having access to variety collections in many categories including:

You can do a general search and search within results.

You can view documents including newspapers, manuscripts and monographs.
