Short Edition Short Story Submission Guidelines

We welcome submissions from established and emerging writers alike.

We will only accept fictional works, although they can be based on personal lived experiences. While they may be any style or genre, they need to be appropriate for diverse audiences.

All submissions should be submitted via this submission platform in a copy/paste format.

Submissions must be short stories with a maximum 8,000 characters, spaces included.

Works must be previously unpublished in print or online, including on personal blogs.

Our response rate could be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on the number of submissions we receive.
