  • Sing A Song of Science Album Cover: Here Comes Science by They Might Be Giants

    Science doesn’t have to be a dry topic. It can be joyous, entertaining, and even melodious. It is thanks to one of my favorite bands, They Might Be Giants, that I can recall certain scientific facts such as that mammals have large four-chambered hearts and the sun is about 93,000,000 miles away. There are also classics like Tom Lehrer’s Gilbert and Sullivan parody about The Elements, which is a great tool for memorizing the periodic table. Scientific songs in the SJPL catalog include:
