New Diversity Collection Display San Jose City Council District 3

D3 decides collection juvenile graphic novel section

Come view many beautiful new books purchased for the San Jose Public Library's East San Jose Carnegie Branch through the generosity of San Jose City Council City District 3.

D3decides gave SJPL a generous grant for East SJ Carnegie Branch to add new Children and Young Adult books focusing on diversity.

We ordered many titles celebrating our city's diversity, focusing on increased representation of language minorities and cultural groups among both our customers and the total population of the 3rd District.

Please come and browse our displays. Check out our new Children's and Young Adult/Teen Graphic Novels, fiction, nonfiction, and materials in Spanish or Portuguese.

Many of the new items are in Graphic Novel format.

We have also added several new items in Chinese, German, Korean, and Russian based on the diversity of current customer interests.
