Codingtimes, a local non-profit organization, will be teaching an introductory Java coding class for teens (ages 12+) at Rose Garden Branch Library Saturday mornings in October. Teens will learn basics of computer science and programing with concepts such as, but not limited to, object-oriented programming, data types, lists, strings, sets, maps, if statements, and for and while loops. Codingtimes instructors and mentors will assist teens as they design and develop a project of their choosing.
