GarageScript Coding Community - July Registration

If you’re passionate about learning how to code, we’d love for you to join the non-profit coding community, GarageScript! They help people of any background become great software engineers for free.

Participants will learn one-on-one with a mentor and gain the skills to become mentors themselves by teaching what they learned. After successfully completing the curriculum, participants have the option of finding a team to develop a product and potentially make a real world impact! You will have the opportunity to learn Node.js, HTML, CSS, Classes, React, Redux, and React-Redux; the entire stack necessary to building a simple web app! Class size is limited.

Laptops are available for checkout to attendees, and they require an SJPL library card and photo ID. Please arrive 15 minutes early if you need to checkout a laptop.

Registration on Eventbrite is required for each day that you want to attend the program.

Registration will guarantee your spot only if you arrive within 15 minutes of the start time.

Space is extremely limited. Please register under your own name & email. Any duplicate names & emails will be removed.

Parking validation for 4th St. garage will be provided at the program.
