Diabetes is a global epidemic.  It is estimated that 30.3 millions people have diabetes in America, about 1 in 11 people.  27% of these people don't know they have it.  Class 1 will talk about how diabetes happen, diagnosis, different types of diabetes, symptoms, monitoring blood sugar, and medications.
