Branch Community Room Application Form

The San José Public Library is committed to providing access to community rooms for established nonprofit organizations, typically known as 501(c), individuals or organizations directly associated with the City of San José, or other government institutions.. Community rooms are made available for events which foster community engagement and support the library’s mission.

Program Information

This request form does not guarantee a reservation. All reservations will be reviewed and confirmation emails will be sent stating your request has been approved. The approval process may take up to 2 business days. Your event may be listed in our community events area.

By submitting this form to use a branch community room, I assume responsibility on behalf of myself and my attendees for the following:

  1. Reimbursing the library for missing equipment and repairs to the rooms and furnishings for damages which occurred during the duration of my event.
  2. Assuring that the event is free and open to everyone.
  3. Abiding by the Branch Community Rooms Policy, Behavior in the Library Policy, and all other library policies.
