All library locations, except for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library, will be closed until 2 PM for an all staff development morning. This learning opportunity for all of our staff helps us provide you with well-trained and highly capable library staff—part of our vision as a library serving the San Jose community. Mt. Pleasant Neighborhood Library (Bridge Branch) will be open 2–7 PM on that day instead of during the morning.
About Limited Services at King Library
The King Library will be open during the morning but with limited services. The following spaces and services will be unavailable until 1:30 PM:

- Children's Room (and Wee Explore PlaySpace)
- Partners in Reading
- SJPL Works
- TeenHQ
- Service Desks
The following services will still be available at King Library:
- Self-checkout machines
- Computers & Printing
- Study Rooms
- Free Wi-Fi
