Join the San José Public Library at Pop-Up Makerspaces throughout downtown on Fridays and Saturdays. Drop in anytime at these pop-up spaces from 12 to 3 pm, and use your creativity to re-imagine downtown’s underutilized pocket spaces.
Future Engineers has another challenge for enterprising K-12 students. This year, students are challenged "to create a digital 3D model of a container for space." Containers are useful to astronauts for many different things, from food storage to experiments. With the new addition of a 3D printer on the International Space Station astronauts can now print on demand and future astronauts may even use them on Mars!
The Library was recently awarded a grant from the Knight News Foundation to develop an online tool which will help individuals understand privacy in the digital age and make informed decisions about their online activity. In order to create the best possible tool we need your help!
