  • Banned Books Week: Ending, BeginningsBanned Book Cover

    Today is the last day of Banned Books Weeks 2017, but beginnings are on my mind today. It is the very beginning of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights, the very first amendment, that protects our freedom to read. We will next be observing Banned Books Week during the last week of September 2018, but we celebrate our First Amendment rights every time we begin to read a challenged book.
