In response to recent acts of violence against Asians, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in our community, San José Public Library in partnership with County of Santa Clara Behavioral Health Services Department, Cultural Communities Wellness Program, will now be offering an online support group series for the Month of May.

Since May is Mental Health Month and AAPI Heritage Month, it's a perfect opportunity for us to offer mental health support to members of the AAPI community. This free virtual weekly group support series will take place in a safe space where healing, education, and support are provided. Learn different techniques on how to take care of yourself, new skills, and tools to add into your wellness toolbox as we continue to live in a society where we have to navigate around the pandemic and AAPI hate crimes.

These events are Free. These sessions are conducted online via Zoom (Learn about Zoom.) Registration is required to receive a link and password to access to the program. Registration will close 1 hour before the program begins. Please select one or more of the following dates and register today!

We hope to see you at the workshops!

Bonuses: In appreciation of your participation, we will give out whistles and personal alarms. Subject to availability.

To request an accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act for library-sponsored events, please call 408-808-2397 at least three business days prior to the event.
