Ever heard the term "Jack of All Trades"?
There are some careers that grow to include so many other specialties. Are you so good at speaking in front of an audience people pay you to do so? Are you great at teaching, explaining things or motivating others? Do you have interesting life experiences to share? Roll these talents into one, and you have Glodean Champion who is a paid public speaker, storyteller, photographer, world traveler, author educator and life coach. It sounds like a lot, but Ms. Champion will share how she created her own path to success.
Glodean Champion can be best described as a “Renaissance Woman with Flair.” She possesses highly desirable skills that are difficult to find in one person! That's what makes her exceptional at what she does. She is a Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB), Project Management Professional (PMP), with an MFA in Writing from California College of the Arts and over 30-years of business experience and 10+ years as an adjunct professor and group facilitator. She’s also an experienced coach, facilitator, leader, and motivational speaker!
Glodean has a proven track record of success developing and leading highly visible multi-million-dollar business initiatives. She is an expert in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, an excellent communicator, and a team champion; leveraging her team-building and leadership expertise to coach cross-functional teams and senior executives. She has facilitated 50+ planning and development workshops, change management, team building, and strategic planning sessions.
Glodean’s goal is to eliminate the politics and "status quo" in organizations and transform ordinary people, processes, and practices into extraordinary ones! She believes it's really easy to be ordinary, most anyone can do it without any energy at all. But, it's the extraordinary organizations that are innovative, cultivate a culture of change, and nurture managers into leaders. And she believes the best way to effect change in organizations is to transform the lives of the individuals who work there, which is why she developed the "Love Your Life" coaching program. A program designed to help people fall in love with themselves so they can make space to love others. She's more than a coach. She's a champion's champion - pun totally intended.
When she’s not working to transform the business world, she is also a published author and essayist, and as of late 2020, she is the founder of a Black Muse Publishing. A publishing company that is committed to sharing stories by and about Black people and people of color that celebrates their greatness and uplifts and enlightens the reader. Her debut novel, Salmon Croquettes, was released, Spring 2021. She lives on Del Monte Beach in Monterey, CA, and can be found most mornings walking her adorable Tibetan Terrier, Tashi, along the shoreline, giving gratitude for the beauty of her expansive backyard.
