Spotlight on eResources - Silicon Valley Business Journal and Book of Lists

Book of Lists: 2014 to 2015 editionSilicon Valley is home to a myriad of businesses of all types. Book of Lists, produced annually by Silicon Valley Business Journal, highlights the best and biggest of these in 90 different categories. Even if you're not looking for something specific, it's a fascinating book to browse.

Some lists are directly related to business - public and private companies, minority-owned, family-owned, and woman-owned businesses, for example. Other lists have a financial focus, including banks, credit unions and venture capital deals. Many of the lists can be of interest on a personal level as well.  Find the top breweries, wineries and golf courses, the most-visited museums, the best places to work, the biggest apartment complexes and real estate firms.

You can browse the Book of Lists at King Library and several branch libraries, or view it online by logging in with your library card. Silicon Valley Business Journal, also accessible in the library or online, rounds out the package, with up-to-date news and information on local businesses.
