New Virtual Preschool Programs

Preschool playing

From learning their ABCs and counting 123s, to learning how to share ideas and take turns, San Jose Public Library’s new selection of Virtual Preschool Programming will help your child prepare for kindergarten. Starting next week, we will be offering 5 virtual programs designed specifically for preschoolers to help them build on their skills as they prepare for new academic adventures in and out of the home. Our Virtual Preschool Programs will give children an outlet to practice drawing, writing, sharing, problem-solving and most of all, having fun with a group of their peers in a safe and welcoming environment.

Register though our events page and join us every Monday to Friday at 9:00 AM on Zoom.

My background is in early infant mental health and we strongly discourage the use of cell phones by young ones, especially when it's right on the ear. Visual images are powerful which is why I would love to see the image of the little boy with cell phone on his ear be replaced with a healthier image; perhaps a mother with cell phone on speaker well away from their heads/bodies? Or a parent with a child sharing earphones?
