Virtual volunteer opportunities are now available throughout SJPL. These opportunities are a great way for you, your friends, and your family to volunteer with the Library and earn service hours all from the comfort of your own home, all you need is a device and an internet connection to get started.
If you want to work directly with library customers, you can share your skills by leading a virtual Library program like coding classes, book clubs, and other instructional classes. Volunteers are also needed to create instructional tutorial videos and other digital content. Teens (ages 13+) can also earn service hours by writing book reviews and creating reading lists in our Library catalogue as Teen Book Reviewers.
To get started, follow any of the links above or review our full list of virtual volunteer opportunities. Once you have completed an application, a Library staff member will follow up with you to review your application and get you started with remote orientation and training.
