245 years ago, on July 4th 1776, 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence. Fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, and even political speeches, are activities traditionally held to celebrate.  Ever wonder what the significance of fireworks is to typical 4th of July celebrations?  When did that tradition actually start?
