eSpotlight – Introducing LOTE (Languages Other Than English) for Kids

"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go." - Dr. Seuss

Digital World Language Picture Books for Kids

San José Public Library members now have access to LOTE (Languages Other Than English) for Kids - a database of over 1,300 digital picture books presented in more than 45 languages along with English translations. Children can listen to a story as it's read to them. Moving text displays the words as children read along and enjoy the colorful pictures. New books and languages are added regularly.

Fun, educational activities for children like "Spot the Difference" and "Word Search" are also available.
