For books hot off the press, Los Angeles Times presents a Summer Reading Guide, good for beach reads as well as more ambitious reading. Fiction and non-fiction are listed under the categories of Beach ReadsHistory and Biography, Young Adult & Children, Lifestyle, Quirky, and Audio.

For San Jose Public Library, please look up our catalog and Downloads page; and "request" your particular books, ebooks, or audio books when they are not currently on shelf. Eco-tainment with Doug Nolan at Vineland Branch Library

Would you like to see him do his tricks while riding a six-foot-high unicycle? Rock Steady Juggling," will present his one-man show "Eco-tainment" for the enjoyment of everyone, from toddlers to grandparents. Prepare to be entertained by music, juggling, plate-spinning and unicycle riding when Doug brings his unique blend of circus entertainment and ecological awareness to Vineland Library.
