Starting on January 2013, Storytimes at the East San José Carnegie Branch Library will resume again!

Our first Family Storytime with Stay and Play activity is scheduled on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 6pm. And our first Inclusive Storytime for 2013 will occur on Wednesday, January 16th at 6pm.

Storytime Schedule at the East San José Carnegie Library:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) Family Storytime with Stay and Play activity - Wednesdays (weekly) - 6pm- 7pm
• Inclusive Storytime with Stay and Play activity - 3rd Wednesday of the month - 6pm-7pm

¡A partir de enero del 2013, la Hora de Cuentos en la Biblioteca East San José Carnegie se reanudará de nuevo!

Nuestro primer Hora de Cuentos para Familias con la actividad Quédate a Jugar está programada para el miércoles, 2 de enero 2013 a las 6pm. Además, nuestra proxima Hora de Cuentos Inclusivo con la actividad Quédate a Jugar será el miércoles, 16 de enero a las 6pm.

El horario de cuentos en la Biblioteca East San José Carnegie:

• Hora de Cuentos Bilingüe Para Familias con Quédate a Jugar va ser los miércoles de 6pm hasta 7pm (cada semana)
• Hora de Cuentos Inclusivo con Quédate a Jugar tomará lugar el tercer miércoles de cada mes de 6pm hasta 7pm.

Storytimes at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library will return in January 2012. During storytimes children listen to stories, do fingerplays, sing, dance, make new friends, and learn how much fun reading is and what a great place the library is. Bring your child and join the fun.

 Toddler Storytime (Ages 1-3) - Tuesdays from 11:30 - 12:00Noon .

 Family Storytime (All Ages) - Wednesdays from 4:00 - 4:30PM

 Family Storytime (All Ages) - Saturdays from 11:00 - 11:30

 Inclusive Storytime (Ages 2-8) Third Wednesday of the month from 4:00-4:30PM

All of our storytimes are also followed by a half hour of Stay and Play. During Stay and Play, toys are brought out for the children to play with. Parents are invited to play with their children or it is also a great time to interact with other adults, make connections and perhaps learn some parenting tips.

We invite children and their families to enjoy these storytimes at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library.
 

Storytime schedule is taking a break at the Joyce Ellington Branch Library in August.

However, a New Storytime Schedule will start in September:

• Bilingual Preschool Storytime (English/Spanish) - Tuesdays  from 11:30am -12:30pm with Stay & Play Activity
   
• Family Storytime (English) - Wednesdays from 5:30pm - 6:30pm with Stay & Play Activity
   
• Inclusive Storytime - 3rd Tuesday of the month from 11:30am - 12:30pm with Stay & Play Activity

We invite kids and their families to enjoy these storytimes.

El horario de la Hora de Cuentos en la Biblioteca Joyce Ellington está tomando un descanso en el mes de agosto.

Sin embargo, habrá un nuevo horario de cuentos que se iniciará en el mes de septiembre:

• Hora de Cuentos Preescolar y Bilingüe (inglés/español) - Los martes de 11:30am hasta 12:30pm con la actividad de Quédate a Jugar
   
• Hora de Cuentos Para Familias (inglés) - Los miércoles de 5:30pm hasta 6:30pm con la actividad de Quédate a Jugar
   
• Hora de Cuentos Inclusivo - El primer martes del mes de 11:30am hasta 12:30pm con actividad de Quédate a Jugar.
