The Children's Room of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library is having a special visitor on Saturday, December 1 from 11:30-2:00PM. Yes it's Santa! Santa will be here, and boys and girls of all ages can have their pictures taken with him. So parents please bring your own cameras and Santa will have a happy smile and a Ho! Ho! Ho! for all. Santa will be bringing a few elves along and children will receive a candy cane and a free book while supplies last.

Festivities will begin at 11:00AM with our Family Storytime which will feature Santa stories. Also remember that you can find books to borrow from the San José Public Library about Christmas and the other special holidays which happen in December: Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.

Join the Almaden Community Center Staff at our Annual Breakfast with Santa event on Saturday, December 8, at 9:30 AM to 12:00 noon in the Almaden Community Center.

The morning will begin with a tasty breakfast and seasonal arts and crafts.

Then we will be joined by Santa where pictures will be available for purchase. We will provide the photography and frames for you and your family to enjoy for years to come.

We will end with a special gift from Santa.

Note that there is a charge of $10 for this event. Each child must be accompanied by a registered parent.

This program is intended for children ages 1½ years old and above.
