Andy C. The Gnome is on the road visiting several Carnegie Libraries in California, including the historic East San Jose Carnegie Branch Library.    Everyone is welcome to come to our special event, on Saturday February 9, 2013 at 2:00 PM.   Festivities will include a story time, a craft, and a chance to meet Andy C. and Curious Conroy Cougar

Do you like magic?   You are cordially invited to come to the Edenvale Branch Library Community Room on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 4:00 PM to see a fun magic show with Grandpa Joe.   This show for children and families is sponsored by the Friends of the Edenvale Branch Library, of which Grandpa Joe is a member.  

Older children and their families are invited to create a wave machine with duct tape, wooden skewers and soft candy at this educational activity designed for children ages eight and older.

Come to the Edenvale Branch Library Community Room on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 3:30 PM to see some creative teens acting out or interpreting various children's stories. These polished and animated teens have participated in local or national speech competitions. You are welcome to join us for a highly entertaining hour of stories which will be a treat for children and their families.
