Are you looking for a way to help your community this summer while gaining Community Service hours for school?  San José Public Library is looking for energetic and fun-loving volunteers age 15 - 17 years (13 or over if a member of teensReach) to help with our Summer Reading Celebration. 

Volunteers are needed to explain how the Summer Reading Celebration works, register children for the program and award prizes.  Training is provided.  Help promote library activities and events during "Dig Into Reading" this year’s summer reading theme. 

Please select the branch you are interested in, complete the entire volunteer profile, and sign up for a maximum of two 1-hour shifts per day.  You must sign up for any training the branch offers before signing up for shifts.
