Suggestion For Next Year Contest

It would be awesome if you guys have another category for costume contest along with the graphic novel contest. Winners will be judge on who wears the best comic book or anime costumes.

Suggestion For Next Year Contest

What a great idea.

Thank you.

Award Ceremony

Too bad that I missed the award ceremony on August 25th at Berryessa Branch Library...what exactly was showing on the huge projection screen in the photos of all the winners. Did you guys show a video on that day or something? The photos are stunning...I like how you guys organized all the graphic novels of all the participants on the table, not like last, which is kind of messy.

Award Ceremony

We had a presentation of all the winners and their entries playing on the big screen.

I am so glad you liked our graphic novel display. Thank you.

Nice photos...

I must say that the photos are amazingly clear. It is possible we could get a copy of all these photos. It was much better than last year. I like how you guys organized it with a huge projection screen in the back of the room. However, I didn't see the children book author or publisher, Oliver Chin, in the picture. Was he present at the award ceremony? And, who is that gentleman with the glasses taking pictures with the kids. Is he one of the winners? It's nice to see at least one older adult in the contest. You guys did a great job organizing this year contest.

Nice photos

Thank you for your kind comments. Oliver Chin was unable to make it to the awards ceremony this year due to a scheduling conflict.

Yes, you can definitely get a copy of your photo. Just send us an email sjplgraphicnovelmakingcontest@gmail.com and describe your photo.

The gentleman in the glasses is one of the winners of the adult contest.

Price Pick-up

I could also pick it up at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr library...Just let me know if you have already received my email...thank you.

Price Pick-up

Yes, you can definitely pick up your prize at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library. But please reply to the email you received from Birgit. She will have more specifics about where to pick up your prize.

Price Pick-up

I didn't get any email about picking up the price for getting an honorable mention for my book "Death Match". However, I did respond to an email that were sent on August 25 about the award ceremony earlier today. In the email, I have included my phone number to arrange a time and place to pick up my price. Is it possible that I could pick it up at Tully Community Branch Library? Thank you and have a great day...

What is Honorable Mention?

I was not able to attend the award ceremony on August 25. What exactly is Honorable Mention? Well, my book got "Honorable Mention" in the adult category? Do you also give out prizes or certificates for those who got this title. Also, are you going to published a book of all the winners and distributed it throughout the San Jose Public library system like last year. In addition, is there a video of this year contest. thanks...

Could you please reply to the

If I can't make it...

I couldn't make it to the ceremony because I was already at college. I don't think I'll be able to come back and retrieve my prize. Is it possible for my mom to get it for me? Do I need to bring any form of ID?

Congratulations.  We will be
