In the waning days of Communism, a Russian conductor is publicly humiliated during a performance by government officials, putting an end to his career. Years later, working as a janitor at the same venue, he intercepts an invitation for the resident orchestra to visit Paris; he decides to form his own ensemble of musicians to go in their place and finish the concert interrupted years earlier. The Concert stars Melanie Laurent and has a 61 percent rating at Rotten Tomatoes.
